There is a varied range of attractions in Etne both – historic and more modern – e.g art galleries and rock carvings, but the main attraction is still the majestic scenery from the fjord to glacier. Langefoss should certainly be experienced, a waterfall that is named by National Geographic as possibly one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Here is also possibility for guided tours beside the waterfall.
In Etne there are preserved rock carvings at Helgeberg , Stødle.
Stødle church: The oldest part of this church is from 1100th century and was then chapel of Erling Skakke and his family. Erling Skakke was the first crowned king of Norway.
